The Slice Super-Safe Carton Opener (10477) has a unique design that keeps you as safe as possible while you cut. Made especially for those with dexterity issues or those who work wearing bulky work gloves, its large circular handle fits comfortably in your palm for straight, flush cuts. The finger-friendly® blade is only exposed when you press a textured button with your index finger and push the tool down, flush, onto the cutting surface. As soon as contact with the cutting surface is lost (or you release the button), the spring-loaded blade guard automatically redeploys - making it almost impossible to accidentally touch the blade, keeping the user safe in the event of a slip. This innovative unboxing tool is suitable for left- and right-handed users and works on many different industrial and fulfillment packaging materials.
